Third year Bachelor students Naika, Alexandra and Lydie created the concept for loyal customers, locals, and tourists to discover and enjoy the tastes and savoury flavors of signature Singaporean dishes. The themes are chosen according to the different cultures of the various Vatel Schools around the world.
The Singaporean theme was chosen by the hotel management and with the creativity and support from the three students, the theme envisioned came to life. The students were given this assignment in their practical weeks when working in the Food and Beverage Department.
They were able to work independently, manage their communication skills, and excel in their creativity when it came to the theme’s decoration and menu creation. To ensure that all would run smoothly, the students stayed at the restaurant and passed instructions and explanations. The guests as well as staff were delighted to discover such vibrant culture through its spicy and tasty cuisine.
