Vatel Switzerland is located in Martigny, in the heart of Europe. This charming town is a place where history, culture and meeting possibilities blend together with harmony. With a well developed infrastructure Martigny attracts a growing number of high-end firms. It is proud to boast a rich and diversified cultural life famous around the world thanks to the Pierre Gianadda foundation, its archaeological centre for Roman remains and a permanent outdoor sculptures exposition.

Well known skiing resorts in the nearby (Verbier, Crans-Montana, Zermatt, Gstaad) and wandering itineraries leading to Lake Geneva add to the large array of sport possibilities available in the area, in winter and in summer.

Insurance

Students must comply with the Swiss health insurance law and sign for an individual health insurance, unless they can prove they are covered by their initial insurance plan during their studies.

Third party insurance plans are provided during internships in Switzerland, through the school's administration.

CAMPUS

At the moment students live in the Hotel du Parc, Vatel Switzerland's training hotel. There are 115 bedrooms in the hotel, a big conference centre for up to 400 guests, smaller meeting rooms, and a restaurant. Students’ bedrooms are cosy, and fully equipped with a TV, desks, internet connection, linen, towels, hair dryer and usual toilet aminities. Classrooms at Vatel Switzerland are located on the business side of the hotel, where the Vatel administration offices are to be found, along with the professors’ room, the library and the computer room. The cafeteria and the students’ common room with a big flat screen TV, video games and a pool table are located in the basement.

The King's Bar belongs to the students and is managed by the oldest ones every night of the week, allowing students to relax after work and enjoy a few hours with other students at the end of the day.

In 2013, Vatel Switzerland will proudly open its brand new sustainable residence for students, located right next to the school and hotel. First in its kind in Switzerland, the new building will offer 180 individual rooms only for each student with cooking facilities and en suite bathroom.
